    5. All posts must be in English.

    Perhaps in due time we could have some international forums :) Not for a while through.

    Good set off rules. Must of taken you ages to write that up.

    good job but you might want to expand on the copyright thing a bit. Mention "fair usage" i.e. they cannot post the entirety of an article but only a portion (usually less than 1/3) unless permission is granted for the entire article to be used. All quotes MUST be cited and if in doubt about citation please contact a moderator,
    How to describe Australian politics? Perhaps this quote from former Prime Minister Paul Keating:-

    "Mr Speaker can I have some protection from the clowns on the front bench ?"

    Sounds very reasonable... and clear. Hope you mods will be cognizant of the fact that more forums fail due to heavy-handed moderation than the presence of irksome posters. So far, things seem to be fairly balanced here... hope it stays that way. ;)

    Yes, phrases are fine.

    @Benjamin,
    The idea of it is that we, as moderators, are unable to moderate foreign posts. We don't know what they say, therefore cannot remove invalid content. If we happen to have a bilingual staff member in the future, a forum in another language may be viable.

    As a new member , it took me 7 times to log in ,,, and I was about to just write this website off as a FUBAR , but I was finally able to log in.......... whew .... wasn't easy , though ... but many thanks to Amit , for all the help ....

    Thanks , AMIT , I appreciate your sticking with me...

    Now , what about allowing me to put in my avatar and post ??

    I agree , and I am Mouse ... you know me as Hillbilly , but I am Mouse here , just a small little voice that seeks only peace....

    as a new member that has finally been able to log in , [ something about dot dot dot dada dot dot in the password that I did not put there ....

    just what would you consider an off-post comment ??

    SmartMouthWoman , it seems to me that we have landed in a lily pond of tadpoles that are trying their best to be bull frogs , but they ain't got the kahanoos to fake a deep voice... if you take my meaning..

    Admin Message - This, is an off-topic comment. Please refrain.

    How many posts are required before a newbie can vote in polls, add avatars, signature lines etc.?

    Appears to be a great forum, a little tighter controlled than what I am used to (can you tell?), but nice.
