The slang term "Leftie" is used on this forum by many RWingers to describe anyone to the left of Attila The Hun. I consider myself a moderate too. I am for a strong defense, favor "Reasonable" gun rights, favor the death penalty for heinous crimes....But also favor a woman's right to choose, am against state sponsored torture & don't look kindly on wars of aggression when my President orders one.

Good Lord, Devil, even I snorted milk out my nose on that one. While much of what you said in that paragraph is correct, you have several hundred posts which go against any claim of "Moderation".

Even I admit to being socially Liberal and you are far left of me as proven by the numerous disagreements we've had on these pages.

Saw that Howard Dean segment on FNS this morning. Good lordy, the fella was wound up a bit tight. Don't hate the guy, but today he came across looking a bit silly.

As for Palin. She does have the potential to be a concern for the Democrats. Not as a candidate but as a spokesperson / focus point for selling the conservative message. Really not too unlike the majority of the Tea Party players.

Which is why it is basically good politics for the Dems and the supporting Media to ridicule, diminish, demonize both Palin and the Tea Party at any opportunity. Nothing really shocking in this picture....

Most of the subjects I have posted on....... I am on the liberal side of. There have been other topics in re gun control, death penalty etc that I lean moderate to even right on.
I'm not much of a "Label" believer anyway.......I guess "Pedestrian" would be pretty accurate...... at times.

It's just them projecting their own fears on the left. Oldie admitted it by stating his fear Palin would run in 2012. The left does it too when they scream racism every time "whitie" disagrees with a person of color.
