Hello katiegrrl0, glad to have you at Politics Forum. We will likely agree on very little, but I will enjoy some good debate with you.
I am testing the new site. I will be open to it.
I am an ultra liberal Utopian Socialist. I am in South Afrika. I used to be in the US two wars later finds me very disapproving and gone. I am married. I am Lesbian. We have two adopted children and my wife is due with our third in a week or so. I support Universal Heath Care, I am pro choice. I am anti gun. We there you have it.
Inferno you are missed.
Acceptance is the answer.

Ribbit Ribbit
I'm down HWY 287 by Decatur. More moderate than most on these forums such as I support the Second Amendment, can outfit a fire team with weaponry, but don't think my neighbor has a right to own a bazooka or a 106MM recoilless rifle for "deer hunting". I'm a big believer in the rules of common sense and practicality. I believe diversity is good, but only if we learn from it much like evolution depends upon mutations. Diversity for it's own sake is like have the flavors of puke, chicken crap and rotten eggs in your jelly bean bowl. In the USA, we need immigrants and can use the "fresh blood" of varying cultures and ideas. However, if they don't assimilate and we don't learn from them, then nothing is gained.
